Bank/finance data collected on peabw.com sites as part of a refund request is deleted from peabw.com 7 days after the request is made. The reason for the 7-day retention period is to prevent event organizers from rewriting bank information in case a payment goes wrong or if a payment is incorrectly marked as “Paid”. Invoices and receipts for WordCamp expenses are retained for 7 years after the closing of the calendar year audit, at the direction of the financial year's advisors (auditors and accountants).
